In February 2012, Tugger found his forever home through Amy’s organization—and what a life he lived!
Tugger was Allyson’s ultimate adventure buddy. He protected the yard, respected the neighbors, and always knew when to give space and comfort. He earned his AKC Canine Good Citizenship shortly after joining Allyson, and together they walked and ran thousands of miles, climbed mountains, explored forests, and discovered new neighborhoods.
He was Allyson’s Velcro companion—always by her side—and her steady support through the hardest years of her life. Tugger wasn’t just a pet—he was a true partner, offering quiet strength and loyalty day after day.
He was there for both Allyson and her husband, resting at their feet, offering comfort during illness, and welcoming their baby girl with patience and love. He played gently, let her boss him around, walked lightly on leash with her, and soothed her big feelings.
His fur parent, Allyson, shared how thankful she is to have had Tugger by her side all these years:
“I’m so glad I was able to find you to give you a glimpse at his full life. I knew it would be valuable for you to know your faith in him—and in me—was well placed.”
