Meet Our Founder, Amy McCaa

Amy has 20 years of experience training dogs and helping people learn to communicate with dogs. She is current with the significant discoveries in behavior and incorporates them into your training in real time.

Whatever challenge you’re facing with your dog, Amy and the team have the experience and the answer to help you.

How We Work – 3 Easy Steps to Get Started

Talk to us

The first step is a conversation with us. We want to hear about your dog(s), family, challenges you’re concerned about, and any relevant history. This helps Amy prepare for the next step, your private lesson on Zoom.

Private Virtual Lesson

The next step is your initial private lesson with Amy on Zoom. From the comfort of your home, meet with Amy and get started immediately with proven exercises, games and tools. Amy will witness the dynamics of your family pack, and provide a Training Blueprint to guide the training toward the goals you outline. Fee: $250

Program Enrollment

Following your initial private lesson, you will receive your Training Blueprint and training recommendations. The cost of your private lesson is applied to the cost of training when you choose to move forward with Amy and LTW.

Old Dog Learns New Tricks

I am “over the moon” happy with the results of the Safe Dog Program! I have learned that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks and I am thrilled with the progress that I was able to make with my 10-year-old rescue dog Teddy. Your suggestions to try anxiety meds coupled with teaching him to respond to the clicker, “watch me“ and “touch” commands has definitely helped him begin his journey to being a dog who makes “good choices”. Life at home has become calmer and safer for all of us.
