Success Saturday Spotlight: Suki
Meet Suki, a sweet 8-month-old Lab mix who came to Lead the Way full of energy and curiosity. 
Her fur-parents wanted nothing more than to give Suki the best life possible, and their love and commitment to her journey have truly inspired us. 
When Suki first started, she pulled hard on the leash, lunged with excitement, and sometimes pretended not to hear when called (the classic “I don’t hear you” puppy game 
). Her fur-parents’ dream was simple but powerful:
For Suki to walk calmly without pulling
To always come when called
To grow into a wonderful companion and bring peace and joy to their family
From her very first lesson, it was clear that Suki was bright and full of potential. She was curious, friendly, and eager to learn. With steady guidance and the unwavering support of her fur-parents, she began to thrive — joining pack walks every weekend, building her skills, and growing more confident every day. 
Today, Suki has proudly graduated to our Freedom Program and is even preparing to continue her journey as a therapy dog. 
With her big heart and playful spirit, she’s already showing the qualities of a dog who will bring comfort and happiness to many.
We’re so proud of Suki, and deeply moved by the love and dedication her fur-parents have shown. They’ve proven that with patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love, anything is possible. Together, they’re creating the peaceful, joyful life they dreamed of — and Suki is leading the way with her big, wagging tail.
