Lead the Way Dog Training – Creating happy ever afters one tail at a time

Less hesitant and warms up faster to new people

Less hesitant and warms up faster to new people

I cannot thank Amy and The Lead The Way Team enough for all of their help in making sure our pup is able to be the best pup he can be. When we began our journey in April of 2025, Rollo was 18 months old. He would bark at anyone who didn’t live in our home and I could not get him to stop until he could no longer see people. I was always nervous to take him on walks and could not travel and leave him with anyone. Now, we take multiple walks a day. He can walk within 6 feet of a person and listen to commands. Rollo is not as hesitant to meet new people and is able to warm up faster and enjoy affection. I can let window shades be open as he no longer barks at people from the window. He rarely enters the red zone now, and I have learned his triggers and how to stay on top of them, which helps him when we are on walks. My energy has become confident, which translates to the other side of the leash. I truly love our walks together and instead of being afraid, I treat them all as training opportunities for the two of us. In addition, the online classes are tremendously helpful. I learn what to watch and listen for when out and about as well as in the home. Pack walks are an added bonus as they continue to help both of us learn how to behave when we are out among lots of people and other dogs. The program is comprehensive and tailored for your dog type of program. I wholeheartedly recommend Lead The Way for any and all training needs. Thank you so much for everything!
